National Sports Day

In the spirit of National Sports Day.

Sports are supposed to be about fun, teamwork, and pushing yourself to be better. But too many kids are getting left out because of the costs to play. Between uniforms, team fees, and equipment, the costs add up.

That’s why we started Playfundr. We don't want any kids missing out on the sport they love due to costs. We collect gently used gear, resell it at super affordable prices to all athletes and sports fans in the community, and put every dollar we raise into micro-grants. These grants cover the things like cleats, jerseys, or registration fees to keep kids in the game they love.

To really raise the level in sports, it’s not just about who trains the hardest or wins the most games. It’s about making sure everyone gets the chance to step on the field. When nobody is left behind, teams get stronger, communities grow closer, and kids can chase their full potential.
